Pork & Beans with Collard Greens

I Love THIS! Imagine coming home to meal you didn’t have to cook, with this yummy smell wafting up from your bowl. A~mazing…..My husband made this one day, and it still ranks top of my favorite comfort foods to eat. Enjoy!

Feeds 6 people with leftovers

Ingredients for Pork in Beans:

3 cans of pork & beans

2 cans of rotel

1 lb breakfast sausage

2 Tbsp yellow mustard

3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

3/4 cup favorite bbq sauce (We used Sweet Baby Ray’s)

1/4 cup brown sugar

Brown sausage in a deep pot, then add other ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce to low, and simmer for 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Pour mixture into a 9 x 13 pan and cook for 1 hr to 1 and 1/2 hrs. Cook some collard greens to eat in the bowl with this, and you won’t regret it. Yum.
