Everything But the Kitchen Sink

Yield: 6 plus leftovers
Prep time: 5 minutes
Total time: 30-35 minutes
  • 3 cups Jasmine Rice and Butter
  • 4 1/2 cups of Liquid (Water, or Broth)
  • Protein and Vegetable of your choice (Chicken, pork, or beef)
  • Half an onion, salt and pepper to taste


Get your rice cooking first. Saute rice in the butter for 1-2 minutes. Add liquid and salt to the mixture. Bring to boil, then cover and reduce to low for 12-15 minutes. While the rice is cooking cut up and prepare vegetables. In a separate pan saute onion and garlic until soft. Add in vegetables. Cook 2 minutes. Then add cooked meat,and stir to combine. Add seasonings of your choice. Once the rice is fully cooked, add the meat mixture to it and toss to combine. Serve family style and enjoy!
